Living Room and Dining Room

The living and dining rooms comprise a great room with exposed beam ceilings. Surrounded by louvered windows that allow for the passage of sea breezes, additional comfort is provided by Classic Hunter Fans and large standing floor fans. The antique furniture is complimented by contemporary Rattan seating in the living room that accentuates the tropical ambiance. The bedrooms are immediately accessible as well as the staircase leading upstairs.

The vaulted living room ceiling provides great acoustical enhancement for the entertainment system that includes a 43” Smart TV, a Bluetooth stereo amplifier and DVD player. Two additional speakers are located in the sitting area on the veranda.

The living room opens onto the veranda through four French doors and another door opens onto a porch that has a porch-swing facing the tennis court.

The Veranda

A 50’ veranda faces directly onto Long Bay and the Caribbean Sea. A teak dining table expands to seat 12 and there is a separate card table that can seat an additional four guests.

At the opposite end of the dining area is a seating area with a couch and two lounge chairs. An ice chest and bar are conveniently placed.

Exercise equipment that includes stretch bands and free weights, Bosu balls, and floor mats are located in the middle of the veranda.

The largest of the two beaches is just steps off the the veranda.

Although cooking may seem like the last thing anyone would want to do on a vacation, we would welcome you anytime to share your cooking skills with the staff that is always welcoming new recipes and techniques that go beyond the traditional Jamaican fare that has always met with approval from our guests over the years.

Master Bedrooms

Located on the ground level of the main house both master bedrooms have their own bathrooms with walk-in showers. Each bathroom has a door opening to a shared outdoor shower for rinsing off after coming from the beach. The Seaside Master bedroom opens directly onto the 50-foot veranda and the louvered windows provide views and sounds of the Caribbean Sea from the largest of the two private beaches.

The Gardenside master bedroom also has access to the outdoor shower from its own bathroom. It also opens onto a passageway that leads from the dining room to the kitchen. There is also a door that joins to the seaside bedroom and one opening into the dining room.

Upstairs En Suite

Kingsize bed

The largest partition has a king-sized bed and a private entrance down a staircase leading to the lawn and beach.

The upstairs bedrooms are en suite that share a bathroom overlooking the sea. The bathroom has recently been remodeled and features a walk-in shower.

The alcove in the center section has a twin bed under a gable facing the yard and opposite the bathroom and a staircase leading down to the dining room and living area below.

On the eastern side of the second level is a third bedroom/partition that has two twin beds overlooking the tennis court and Seven-Mile Beach. Privacy is maintained by a fabric secured to a room divider and a door. Interestingly, the room divider is made by woven bamboo strips which is how fish pots were made before wire was available.

A cottage is immediately adjacent to the main house and serves as a 5th bedroom with its own bathroom with a sunken shower and patio that faces the beach. It has a Queen-size bed, wardrobe, writing desk and hotel safe.

Hotel Safes

Each of the two master bedrooms and cottage has its own safe. There is a large safe for the en suite bedrooms upstairs with lock bags and boxes upon request. There is also a large safe in the entertainment cabinet in the dining room.

Watch Dogs

Our two dogs, Stella and Max, are exceedingly friendly, overly playful and safe with children and adults alike. Stella is a great watch dog with very keen hearing, oftentimes announcing a visitor at the gate before the bell is rung. Max, on the other hand, is an adventurer and will insist on joining the crew on the water.
