Llantrissant is an authentic Jamaican experience with fabulous sunsets! Llantrissant is well located, situated between the cliffs at West End and the 7 mile beach. Both of these areas of Negril provide their own experience, however Llantrissant is very unique in what it provides. The privacy and relaxation available on this estate sized property with excellent views of the water, and manicured gardens, combined with its well kept historic home and exceptional staff create a magical vacation. The staff is happy to prepare dinner--and it rivals anything you can find in the best restaurants. Enjoying a delicious meal and watching a most beautiful sunset ---so special. Cannot recommend this property too highly. Have been coming to Negril since 1983 and truly by comparison to most places, this is a gem that should not be missed. Once experienced, you will return again and again. Becky D2019-05-29 30th birthday trip! My group of 9 friends came to Negril for my 30th birthday party. We rented the whole property and were there a total of 4 days. We did all sorts of things that the property helped us coordinate from boating trip, kayaking, transportation, meals, grocery shopping and outings. Our safety was never a concern and they truly looked out for us. Craig and Cherry thanks for sharing your amazing home with us! From property manager Ramon was great to work with and was helpful. Ms Anne and Ms Natalie were amazing, helpful, sweet and amazing cooks! I miss there food already! Not mention the cutest guard dog, Stella, who truly not only looked out for us but was the sweetest thing. (I miss her!) Ryan the groundskeeper was great, And made a sweet bouquet for the table on my birthday. We had such an amazing time, and counting the day to go back to Negril for our wedding. We are even looking into getting married here next year. If you have a group of friends or family, this is your place. This goes down as the best vacation EVER! PS in regard to noise that people complain about, we had no issues. Lauren & Jon2019-05-22 Elder Millenial + Family People first! The staff was INCREDIBLE! Miss Anne, Natalie, Talesia, Danny, Benji, Charma and Barry - the fact that I know your names and had lovely conversations with each of you proves that I was taken care of. Travelling in a foreign country for the first time can be nerve-wracking, something you don't want to feel on a holiday, and the people that take care of this amazing historical property, and all of those in it, were Superb. Thank you so much again, ladies, I never felt safer. The property! For anyone who wants a huge (HUGE, like over an acre) property with pockets upon pockets of private yet open romantic seating/nooks in an among the massive banana trees, palm trees and native Jamaican trees, this is the place to be. A relaxing hammock underneath a big strong Jamaican Mahoe tree right near the beach, TWO private beaches (one you'd swim in less as there's more waves but is quite private ;) ) Apparently a lot of people have weddings here (no surprise). We got to stay in the little cottage barely attached to the main house - super private and very good mini Grecian lowered shower. I fell in love with the trees, the nature around the property was so well kept and massive. Breathtaking. Snorkeling at the beachfront, all equipment included. We got to see over half of the fish that we would see on our future snorkelling tours in our own beach front water. We went snorkelling EVERYDAY for over an hour. A TON of cool fish if you take that gear out! If you're not into snorkelling, the famous 7 mile beach is literally a 9 minute (or less) ocean kayak from the front door to the whitest sandiest beach with absolutely nothing but sand, paradise teal water and only a few locals around (the resorts are up to the left by quite a bit). Kayak and enjoy the swimming/relaxing beach if you're not as into coral. Everything is borderline antique, but has that super sturdy feel. Literally NOTHING smelled old though - probably because it's always airy and open. Super fresh smelling and plenty of windows. I love the smell of the towels - because they had no smell. I know that sounds silly but I have such a nose, it was nice to smell nothing but freshness. The house tells such a story. Miss Anne has worked at the estate for over 40 years. Random obsession: they have 9 large glass oil lanterns what were so romantic to bring out to the beach. Something we don't get enough of these days! Listening to the waves as we fell asleep was so calming. Our view from the little cottage was - the teal water and the beach and a beautiful palm. The veranda that wraps around the house has a huge porch for dinners, all overlooking the water. Beds were decent but they could probably invest in new ones. None were king size which we found odd. None of us were ever too hot, if anything we felt nice and cool in the evening but could still sleep in our shorts and t's. If you have a destination wedding or big family, there are a ton of beds and a ton of rooms. Everything is in a massive quantity. They even have 9 Tommy Bahama oak beach chairs all lined up to watch the sunset. I was legit so sad to leave. We just got home last night and this is the first thing I wanted to do in the morning. Thank you so much to the people that made this place feel like home. I felt so safe, and I cannot stress that enough. :) One last thing - if you're a light sleeper, Jamaica in general is not for you as they have booming music everywhere, no matter what. I am a mid to light sleeper though, and with ear plugs was fine and got in all my regular hours. ****Super random but they should put in little stepping stones from the cottage to the kitchen for the late night munchies! Hehehe! A little too many stones. OVERALL 9.8/10, and everything you could imagine that you'd need on your vacay is here. Incredibly trustworthy staff that are outgoing and super open to anything you need. Just re-looked at the photos on the site as I was going to add more, but I think they did a good job! There aren't many of the little cottage, but take my word it was ADORABLE. Rachie2019-01-14 Nice private rustic spot...awful night noise We decided to book our family Christmas and my 50th birthday trip to the Llantrissant Beachcliff villa. I would say the villa presents nicer than the photos on the website. It is very rustic (if you are from Ontario think old Muskoka cottage) but well maintained and the grounds are very nice. There are two beaches although we only used the main beach since the other smaller beach is very shaded. The sand is nice but it does get rocky as you walk into the water. There are plenty of activities on site as identified on their website. We took advantage of all of them. There is snorkelling but the reef out front of the villa is not very impressive and there is quite a bit of garbage on the sea floor. The staff were pleasant and the meals were very well done by Miss Anne and Natalie. We basically rotated jerk chicken, baked chicken, curry shrimp and lobster for dinner. All were delicious however the staff does not bake or do desserts. The HiLo store is walkable for all of your grocery needs. The biggest issue we encountered was the noise at night. The villa is across the bay from a number of resorts and bars and on many of the nights we could not sleep because of the noise. With ear plugs and a pillow over my head you could still clearly hear the music and vibrations of the bass. Usually the music went until 1:00-3:00am. I have never experienced this level of noise at any vacation spot. You will need to consider this very carefully if you plan to stay here. There were some other nuisances as well like very poor WiFi bandwidth and low water pressure but they were not big issues for us. You should also be aware that the beds on the main floor are just double beds, not Queen or King. We have stayed at a number of villas in the Caribbean including the Noble House in MoBay and can say this was not the worst we have been at but definitely not the top of our list. This is a very nice spot that we enjoyed however the noise at night was something that soured our vacation and we will not return or recommend it to our friends. TravellinTex2019-01-02 Amazing holiday house Had an incredible holiday. Perfect space for two families with young children. The two beaches were perfect. We even kayaked round the corner to have breakfast one morning. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food incredible. A beautiful holiday house. Could have stayed much longer. Roving7509152018-10-26 YOU MUST GO HERE!!!! Everything about Llantrissant is absolutely amazing! From when you arrive to see the lush landscape for the first time--to your last dip in the sea before you depart, it does not disappoint. It is truly an escape into vacation mode that is not always easily found! Its great with large groups and just al lovely for two, or even one if your so inclined. Do not miss checking out this place! If you want a central location with privacy and security...this is the spot. Perfect for snorkeling and kayaking. the best part is you don't have to leave the property the staff will take care of everything . Most memorable part of the trip was being dropped off by a catamaran at our private beach Amanda S2018-10-03 A piece of heaven in Jamaica We have recently returned from Llanstrissant Beachcliff Villa. There were 5 of us traveling and we loved Negril and Jamaica. The property sits on a private white sand beach (there are two private beaches). The accommodation is in a restored wooden house which reflects the old Jamaican architecture, and kudos to the owners for not destroying it to replace it with something more modern but soulless. The property is beautiful and very well taken care of and the rooms are very spacious, there is no air conditioning but there are fans everywhere to cool you down as Jamaica can be quite hot. We loved the staff on property especially Ms Ann and Natalie, they made our stay very special and went out of their way to make sure we had anything we wanted to eat - after a while we had gotten tired of jerk and Ms Ann made sure we had a variety of meals to choose from. Meals were also served on the huge verandah and they were very very tasty. There was only one downside to the property but I don't think it is unique to them. Jamaica and Negril can be noisy due to parties that sometimes go all night, and as the house is wooden there can be some evenings where the parties can be loud, however if you are used to noise or have ear plugs it should not bother you too much. It didn't bother us too much and some in our party didn't hear it - but that is Jamaica for you. Overall, I highly recommend this property for its beaches, staff and overall beauty of the property. The staff is amazing and the owner was very easy to deal with. Morgan G2018-09-07Tripadvisor rating score: 5.0 of 5, based on 42 reviews

Magical , Private … best spot in Negril, by far. Located near the downtown area, walking distance to the grocery store, Llantrissant has 2 private beaches in a protected cove, overlooking the whole of the 7 mile beach! The porch is the star, and will be your home. Hammocks, kayaks, paddle boards, books, croquet, card games, tennis…. As my Mom said, “only boring people get bored!” The house and furniture are “antique.” Classic. Pretty basic, No air conditioning, but the sea breeze makes it quite comfortable. The staff is amazing, the cooks are great, grounds are secure, and always well kept. Corinne Henahan2022-03-25 We’ve stayed here several times and had our wedding there! Craig and Cherry are very nice people and the staff is excellent. 24 hour security guard, homemade breakfast and any other meals you’d like them to make, and an absolutely beautiful property in a great location. Can’t beat the 2 private beaches, kayaks, and huge old trees on the property. We love everything about this place and can’t wait to get back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a family vacation up to a beautiful wedding reception! Jon Gusanders2021-12-14 Beautiful & beautiful!
